STATEMENT

I have always been compelled to make things, to experiment with new processes and investigate new ideas.  This has led to an ever-expanding number of media that I have employed.  My works in metal have led to an interest in jewelry as narrative sculpture. These works explore word play through imagery associated with the figure, technology, and the environment. Composed of multiply layered etched sterling, cast figures, found objects and resin they set the stage for the wearers interpretation of a tale. My goal is to create jewelry items that are aesthetically pleasing and conceptually interesting.
